Jharkhand Board Class 12th Result 2025: Passing Criteria

To pass the JAC 12th exam, students must meet the following requirements:

• At least 23 marks out of 70 in each subject.
• At least 33 marks out of 100 in the overall exam.

If a student fails to meet these criteria, they will not be declared as passed.

Provision for Grace Marks

The Jharkhand Board provides grace marks to students who narrowly miss the passing marks. The criteria for grace marks are:

• If a student fails in one subject by less than 5% of the total marks, they will be given the required marks to pass.
• If a student fails in two subjects, each by less than 3%, they will receive grace marks to pass both subjects.
• If a student is short of 5% or less to achieve a higher division, they will be awarded the necessary marks to reach that division.

Jharkhand Board 12th Result 2025 Rechecking and Revolution

After the Jharkhand Board Class 12 annual exam results are declared if any student is dissatisfied with his/her result, he/she will be given a chance for revolution by the board. The student who wants to fill out the revolution form has to attach a copy of the mark sheet related to the subject in which he has scored fewer marks, along with the fixed payment. Rechecking means the answer sheet is checked again.
